With a star cast consisting of Ben Kinglsey, Raima Sen, R. Madhavan and Amitabh Bachchan, you can be assured to expect a great movie. Filmmaker Leena Yadav was able to create a dynamic appeal by letting people know more about the world of Gambling. While the duo of Venkat Subramaniam (Amitabh Bacchan) and Perci Trachtenberg (Ben Kinglsey) was the most awaited one, audiences were equally thrilled by other performances. As the movie takes the theory into consideration and manoeuvres ahead, you will be set to witness a film like never before.

2. The Gambler

Dreams and reality are two different aspects of life because you may never know what’s in store for you in the future. This particular concept is adapted well into The Gambler as Dayashanker Pandey wanted nothing but an average life. As a result, he ends up in different twists and turns as he is forced to deal with gangsters and other such individuals with a criminal history. Along the journey, he comes across different types of trade, including Gambling. While the movie failed to capture the essence of Gambling, it managed to portray a unique piece of cinema.

3. The Great Gambler

Gambler Jai is an expert who has never lost a game in his life. Thanks to these set of skills, he becomes the star attraction, as underworld don Ratan Das comes into the picture. The plan that they strike forms the basis of the movie, and we are taken into a 2 hour, 43-minute tale starring Amitabh Bachchan, Neetu Singh, Zeenat Aman, Prem Chopra and so on. Apart from the central theme, the music was another big hit as R. D. Burman brought all his talent into the game.

4. Striker

Striker explores gambling through the game of carrom and talks about how the protagonist uses the same to fly to Dubai. But due to a couple of incidents, he is fooled by an overseas employment agency and thus, loses everything. The movie is intense and was able to portray a sense of reality, as the star cast included the talented Siddhart, Padmapriya Janakiraman, Vidya Malvade, Anupam Kher and so on.
